Awesome

This app is awesome. It made its way to my home screen in one day! I hope they keep updating Tag Journal with more features every day, it looks like an app with a great future. Regards from Bogotá! And keep on with the great work!

Good Solid App a With a Reliable sync.

Note: until I read some of the other reviews it never occurred to me that a password would be a good idea. If the feature is added I hope it would be "opt-out." I use Drafts quite a bit, and I tried to get used to Vesper (an IPhone only app. ). This app works a little better than either of them if you want to keep a formal journal. In theory Evernote could replace this app, but I find Evernote to be a bit cluttered. (Makes a great junk drawer though!) I especially like the way you can attach multiple photos to a time line entry. This feature is surprisingly hard to find! The tag system is beautiful. For instance, if you tag a timeline entry you can pull up all entries that use the tag very quickly. You can use multiple tags, which is handy. The photos can only be added via timeline (I think) but you can look at the gallery and relate each photo back to the timeline entry it is attached to. A good workflow is + a new timeline page, write what you like, hit save then select tags, photos and so on. Text is not a requirement. Photo only is just fine, of course. My wish list: text expander support 2) more export targets, 3) a way to save the journal in Drop box as well as using I cloud. Import from drafts would be nice too! Also publish a URL scheme to use with apps like Launch Center Pro. This would permit creating a note or timeline entry without going into the app. These are not problems. The app works fine without them. But they would be pretty cool additions.

Has potential

Tag Journal is very intriguing app - it has a clean look and an intuitive user interface. It feel like it needs more development time tho. There have been crashes and odd interface hiccups, and I lost some data. With a bit of polish Tag Journal is going to be a very slick app.

Great for Writing Web Content

I use this app for writing blog posts and articles for the web. I find the calendar format extremely useful for tracking my daily output and tags making finding related content easy. I could see using this as diary app as it was intended, but I dont have personal experience with doing so. My only concern is that if you leave the app to check on web sites (as I often do to verify information or grab a link), it sometimes closes your article/journal entry and if you havent saved, youll lose your progress. Ive learned to save prior to leaving the app to be on the safe side and I havent lost anything since. As with any writing, saving often is always the best practice. I enjoy this app and find it well worth the price. If you write a lot of short content and need a way to organize it, this is a great investment. I dont think itd be as useful as a dedicated word processor app for something more ambitious like a novel.

I like it

I have been using this app for three or four days, now, and have had no trouble with it. I have an iPad and an iPad Mini and can begin an entry on one tablet and finish on the other with no problem. The App I have been using was very good, but when they went to IOS-7 the app, DayOne, lost its compatibility with external keyboards and became a hassle when moving around an entry without removing my fingers from the keyboard, which slows me down. So far, in my opinion, Tag Journal deserves five stars, but for the strip of an extended virtual keyboard at the bottom of the screen. It would be nice to be able to pull up (down) a menu that would allow me to turn this off. Thanks for a great app.

Great Journal

Love this journal! Ive tried a great many of these apps and this is easily one of the best. Honestly, between this and DayOne, all the bases are covered and everyone else pales in comparison. Plus, they have some outstanding customer service and support. In my personal experience, they stand solidly behind the product.

I cant make videos

I dont know why but I can make videos :( I push the red bottom but nothing happens please help me

The one I use

Replaced Day One for me.

Boring

I thought this app would be fun. Its not. Very boring.

Promising

I find it peculiar that you are able to change the date of an entry but are not able to change the time its written—two things that normally go hand-in-hand.

Every day!

I write. Perhaps only one line, but every day I write.

Fantastic app & support

I recently downloaded Tag Journal & I love it. I have a lot I want to keep record of in my life & it always gets scattered on sticky notes or pieces of paper. Here I can keep everything together AND add photos, video, audio...its just awesome. I also had a question that I sent to the developers & they answered me ridiculously fast...like 1 hour. That just shows they are committed to their customers. Thank you for such a great app & I cant wait to see what you have in store next!!

Great Journal App

This has worked great for work and private life.

Does everything I wanted

And a bit more :) wasnt expecting much, got more than I needed for an offline journaly-type thing.

iOS 8 Photo Problem

I really enjoy using this app to conserve memories and reflect upon them later. However, with iOS 8, there is a problem with adding photos. It crashes when you press the recently added section! Please fix

iOS 8 Update Soon???

Cant get to work since I updated to iOS 8.

Very good app

Honestly, I havent explored the entirety of this app yet, but what I have used I really like :)

5 stars before ios 8 crashes

I really liked Tag Journal but it keeps crashing since updating to iOS 8. Cant add a photo without the app shutting down. Please fix crash issue - then it would be a 5-star app Id recommend to others.

Great before iOS 8...

Loved the app before upgrading, now I cant access keyboard when I start a new entry so no more journaling for me :(
